Bay Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes presents the 3rd Annual Pro & College Baseball Youth Challenge. This day clinic, designed for youth ages 8-14*, will provide youngsters an opportunity to gain helpful tips from top level provessional and collegiate baseball student-athletes from a variety of well respected universities such as: Cal, USF, Stanford, San Jose State and Santa Clara University
During this challenge youngsters will be taught the basic fundamentals of hitting, pitching, defense, base running and mental approach. Just before the end of the clinic a select group of youngsters will participate in a softball competition. A BBQ lunch, raffle and other prizes will be given.
Chris Minaker, former Stanford star and current professional athlete with the Seattle Mariners Organization wraps up the baseball challenge by sharing an inspirational message about his life and talking to kids about the importance of character on and off the field.
