From June 8th-June 10th,  The Bay Area World Series IV was held to showcase some of the regions top high school talent to colleges and professional baseball teams.  This was a great four days for high school student-athletes from various regions (South Bay, North Bay, East Bay, Peninsula, Central Coast, and Central Valley) to display their abilities and character in hopes of fulfilling their dreams of playing college and professional baseball. FCA was on site to let people know about our vision “To make a difference for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches”.

We presented the Most Inspirational Player Award along with Blaine Clemmens (Founder of the Bay Area World Series).  Drew Bradshaw, a special young man from Monte Vista High School in Danville, CA was this year’s recipient of the Most Inspirational Player Award at the Bay Area World Series IV.

Congratulations Drew!!!

Here is an email Drew sent to Bay Area FCA Staff Rigo Lopez:

Hi Mr. Lopez,

It was good to meet you at BAWS IV…Thank you again for the award I am deeply honored to receive such a special award. I looked over the FCA  brochure and magazine and I really liked what I read. I like the way it brings Christian influence into the sports world. I especially like how coaches and student athletes like myself influence others and impact the world for Jesus Christ.  What I believe in and my way of life is part of what has brought me this far.  By receiving the Most Inspirational Award and the information you have given me I feel that I am on the right track… Lastly just want to let you know that I will be looking into the FCA at my school for next year.

This award was voted on by college coaches and professional scouts in attendance.
